Kitchen Fire Blankets are produced from amorphous silica cloths and felts, which are absolutely fire proof, impervious to direct flame contact and cannot melt until temperatures exceed 3000 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no smoke emission or toxic gases released when exposed to high heat. The blankets can generally be reused multiple times, depending on the severity and the length of the exposure.

They are much easier to use than a fire extinguisher, just drop it over the fire. Fire Blankets can be used on any type of fire including oil and grease and there's no messy clean up.
