Scholarship Programs

Scholarship programs help high school seniors who want to continue their education at a college, vocational or technical school.

Scholarship – 4-year degree programs

The program provides graduating high school seniors with additional funds for higher education in a four-year bachelor’s degree program. Applications are available each November for eligible high school students. Several students will receive a $1,000 scholarship. From that group, the South Central Foundation Board of Directors will select a student to compete in the statewide competition sponsored by Ohio Electric Cooperatives, Inc. The top statewide prize is $3,650.

Scholarship – technical, vocational or associate’s degree programs

This scholarship will award $1,000 to eligible high school seniors who plan to attend a technical or vocational school, or an associate’s degree program.
