Points are lost if not redeemed before closing an account.
Points are automatically redeemed at the end of every month and applied on the next month’s South Central Power bill.
Points are earned each month for two programs:
- 125 points (January-December) per month per water heater enrolled in the water heater
load management program. - 500 points (June-September) per month per air conditioner (Central A/C or heat pump)
enrolled in the air conditioner load management program. Window, portable, or
other air conditioning devices are not eligible.
