Tired of waiting for the mail?

Take advantage of our paperless billing options

Changes within the postal service mean the mail is taking longer, even as the cost of postage continues to rise. A great shortcut is to sign up for paperless billing — you’ll receive a notification the instant your account details have posted to the South Central Power website and app — usually several days sooner than you’d receive your bill in the mail. You also can pay online and save yourself a stamp.

Create and access your online account

To access your account on the South Central Power My Account website or the South Central app, you’ll need your account number, last name or business name, and an email address. If you’ve never created an online account, click “New User” on the My Account sign-in page. If you previously created an account, log in using the email address associated with your account and your password.

Manage preferences, access tools, and more

Once you’ve signed up and logged in to the website, South Central Power’s “My Account” portal will prompt you to decide if you’d like to turn off paper bills. Select “Yes” and submit and you’re signed up to receive paperless bill notifications at the email address you used. If email works for you, you can stop right there. However, text notifications are also available.

Get email, text, or both

To sign up for text notifications and decide exactly which notifications you want to receive, click on “Notifications” from the main “My Account” menu. First, look at “Manage Contacts” to add, edit, or remove cell phone numbers associated with your account. Then from the same menu dropdown, select “Manage Notifications” to decide when you want to be notified and how.

Autopay makes it even easier

Looking for the ultimate in convenience? Autopay means your balance in full will be deducted from the credit card or checking account of your choice. That means you can still get notifications about your balance and due date but don’t have to take action to ensure your account is paid in full.

If you need assistance with My Account, the South Central app, or setting up paperless or autopay, give us a call at 800-282-5064.
