GenerLink™
GenerLink is a device installed behind your electric meter that allows you to easily and safely connect and start a portable generator, to your home without rewiring. When you connect and start a portable generator, electricity can flow back onto the grid, endangering utility personnel. GenerLink automatically disconnects your house from the electric utility grid, keeping you and workers safe.
Is GenerLink Right for Me?

- Supported load is dependent on generator size.
- Rotate appliances as needed for longer outages.
- Available with or without surge protection.
- Designed and rated to connect directly to a standard household electric service of 200 amps or less.
- Compatible with a portable generator size of between 4,400 and 10,000 watts.

How to Order
- Read and save the GenerLink and Surge Safe Agreement. Placing your order with Global Power Products acknowledges your acceptance of this agreement.
- Find information about your generator compatibility and connector type on the GenerLink product website.
- Choose your GenerLink model, cord length and connector type. The Trifecta device is not eligible. Visit the GenerLink product website for information and model numbers.
- Call Global Power Products at 800-886-3837 ext. 108 to place your order.
- Confirm your GenerLink device will be shipped to you, the member.
Installation and Training
- Once you receive shipment from Global Power Products, contact Energy Services at 740-689-6125 to schedule installation.
- Homeowner must be present during the GenerLink installation.
- An Energy Advisor will be on site to help by training you to make the initial connection as well as assist with any questions about the proper operation of your new device.
- You will be billed a “Charge for additional trips” on your next electric bill. For the amount, see current Schedule of Miscellaneous Charges.

GenerLink and Surge Safe Agreement
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
South Central Power Company (SCP) will install Member’s GenerLink or Surge Safe device to Member’s meter for SCP Charge for Additional Trips, billed on your next SCP bill.
It is understood that the Member has purchased the device from a third party and SCP has made no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the suitability or fitness of purpose for the device, Member relying solely on the warranty, if any, of Global Power Products, the manufacturer of the device.
SCP shall not be held liable for damages that may happen if the GenerLink or Surge Safe device malfunctions and/or fails to function. The Member shall assume all liability for, and shall indemnify and hold harmless SCP, its employees, agents, contractors, subcontractors, and others acting in its behalf, against any and all losses, damages, costs, injuries, claims, expenses, attorney fees, and court costs incurred through the use and operation of this equipment, including, but not limited to, any and all claims for damages to property, equipment, and injury of persons resulting from, connected with, on account of, or arising out of (1) SCP’s installation, (2) Member’s operation and use of equipment, or (3) other acts or omissions of SCP.
No provision in any agreement, code, rules or regulations governing the relationship between SCP and Member are superseded by this Agreement.
Member acknowledges acceptance of this Agreement upon submitting an order for a GenerLink or Surge Safe device.
