How to Order
- Read and save the GenerLink and Surge Safe Agreement. Placing your order with Global Power Products acknowledges acceptance of this agreement
- Only Model Number 100-SK3W-75 is approved by South Central Power Company.
- Call Global Power Products at 800-886-3837 ext. 108 to place your order.
- Confirm your Surge Safe device will be shipped directly to you, the member.
Installation
- Once you receive shipment from Global Power Products, contact Energy Services at 740-689-6125 to schedule installation.
- Homeowners do not need to be present during the Surge Safe installation. If homeowner is not present, place the unopened box with Surge Safe device in a plastic bag under the meter.
- Member will be billed a “Charge for additional trips” on their next electric bill. For the amount, see current Schedule of Miscellaneous Charges.

GenerLink and Surge Safe Agreement
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
South Central Power Company (SCP) will install Member’s GenerLink or Surge Safe device to Member’s meter for SCP Charge for Additional Trips, billed on your next SCP bill.
It is understood that the Member has purchased the device from a third party and SCP has made no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the suitability or fitness of purpose for the device, Member relying solely on the warranty, if any, of Global Power Products, the manufacturer of the device.
SCP shall not be held liable for damages that may happen if the GenerLink or Surge Safe device malfunctions and/or fails to function. The Member shall assume all liability for, and shall indemnify and hold harmless SCP, its employees, agents, contractors, subcontractors, and others acting in its behalf, against any and all losses, damages, costs, injuries, claims, expenses, attorney fees, and court costs incurred through the use and operation of this equipment, including, but not limited to, any and all claims for damages to property, equipment, and injury of persons resulting from, connected with, on account of, or arising out of (1) SCP’s installation, (2) Member’s operation and use of equipment, or (3) other acts or omissions of SCP.
No provision in any agreement, code, rules or regulations governing the relationship between SCP and Member are superseded by this Agreement.
Member acknowledges acceptance of this Agreement upon submitting an order for a GenerLink or Surge Safe device.
