Take control of your electric service with South Central Power’s Prepay Program — a flexible, pay-as-you-go option designed to fit your lifestyle and budget.
What Is Prepay?
Prepay allows residential members to pay for electricity in advance, instead of receiving a monthly bill. You purchase power when it’s convenient for you — whether that’s weekly, biweekly, or as needed. As you use electricity, your account balance decreases. You’ll be notified when it’s time to add more funds, giving you more control and fewer surprises.
Benefits of Prepay
- No deposits required
- Choose your own payment schedule
- No late fees, no disconnect fees, no reconnect fees
- Real-time usage monitoring
- Easy payments through our website, the South Central app, by phone, or in person, or cash payments at retail locations near you via VanillaDirect
- Start with as little as $50
With Prepay, you’ll be able to manage your energy use, track spending, and avoid unexpected bills — all while staying connected.
Who Can Enroll?
The Prepay Program is available to qualifying residential members. To be eligible, you must:
